Miltonia flavescens is found from Peru south, through Paraguay, Brazil and to Argentina and grows at 1500 to 2500 feet elevation. It is tolerant of wide variety of growing conditions. The 3 inch flower is a light yellow with a speckled lip. The flower spike appears in late winter and is up to 1 foot, carrying 8 to 15 flowers and is fragrant like fresh mowed grass. It is an easy grower with a temperature range from 50F to 85F and it likes partial shade about 1800 to 2500 foot candles. Ours are blooming sized divisions ready for potting or mounting.
