Dendrobium victoria-reginae is native to the Philippines and is found in wet, mossy forests at 3000 plus foot elevations in deep shade and lots of air movement. The blue flowers occur in clusters, usually on the older, leafless canes and bloom year round peaking in late Spring. These are seed grown from Hawaii and are more temperature tolerant than jungle collected specimens. We grow ours on the wet side with intermediate temps and shady conditions. These are near blooming size plants, out of pot.
