Both parents of this beautiful primary hybrid are found in Columbia and Ecuador at 1000 to 6000 foot elevations. The inflorescence have up to 6 sequential blooms and can stay in flower for multiple weeks. Flowering can occur at anytime during the year but peaks in the Fall. We grow ours at intermediate temperatures and shady, humid conditions without drying out and fertilizer year round with plenty of air circulation. We keep ours in shallow trays with about 1 inch of standing water. These are blooming size and in 6 inch pots.
