Hexisea bidentata
Hexisea bidentata is found throughout southern Central America and the northern part of South America at elevations below 5000 feet. It is closely related to Scaphyglottis with some taxonomists classifying it as Scaphyglottis. The inflorescence is short with small, 1 inch brightly colored, red blooms occurring throughout the summer. It is a compact grower doing best with moderate to bright light and intermediate to warm temperatures with good humidity but tending to the dry side. These are blooming size divisions
