Laelia praestans is a great compact grower, about 5 inches tall with a flower up to 4 inches, a real knock out. It is is somewhat rare and not often seen in collections. It likes intermediate temperatures and more shade than a Cattleya, about 1000 to 1500 foot candles of light. It does not require a winter rest but only a slight reduction in water in the cooler winter months. These are cork mounted, specimen sized plants and have a minimum of 25 pseudobulbs all near blooming size. Shipped mounted.
