Epidendrum xanthinum
Epidendrum xanthinum is a reed stem Epi from Brazil and Columbia, they are found from 4000 to 8000 foot elevations in bright light situations with little shade. The flowers are 1 inch in size and bright yellow, clustered in a ball and in bloom from spring through fall. They are easy growers and will form clumps up to 5 feet tall and will tolerate temperatures down to 40F range. Ours are seedlings to bloom in a year and are shipped in pot.
