Cyrtorchis monteiroae is found through out West Central Africa in lake and river locations at 3000 to 4000 foot elevations. It is a medium to large sized angraecoid, monopodial with distinctive wavy, crinkled leaves. The white 2 inch+ flowers are strongly fragrant and are borne on a 2 foot inflorescence in Spring. We grow it at the lower end of intermediate temp in moist and shady conditions, 800 to 1500 foot candles. These are blooming size in 6 inch pots.
